adult survivors of a divorce. What rights do the children of a previous marriage have in a death settlement.

Your question is not clear, but I will try to answer anyways. First, Kids can be written out of a will. There is no requirement for kids to take against the will like a spouse can. Secondly, if the kids are minors the kids may collect in a wrongful death case. Third, If a spouse dies and there is child support owed, one can only hope that there is life insurance. You can try to claim that the kids are creditors of the estate, but I doubt that will work.
