Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

getting a title notarized after someones death

My sons grandmother passed away unexpectedly. Previous to her death she had decided to give my son her old car as she was buying something new. On jan. 2 she signed the title and was going to give it to him but i asked her to wait until he got his temps the following week and surprise him then. Sadly she passed before this happened. I have the keys and the signed title and all of my sons aunts and uncles want him to have the car as they know it was her wish. How can I get this title notarized?

Re: getting a title notarized after someones death

The title can only be notarized directly after it is signed. No notarization is possible after the owner is deceased.
