Legal Question in Workers Comp in Ohio

Wreck Car goin to work

I was on my way to work and i was in a serious car accendent, that was my fault, i was seriously injured. I was told that i could get workers comp. becuase of this wreck. Is this true here in ohio or what can i do?

Fault is not an issue in most cases,but not all. As a general rule traveling to or from work when injured is a bar to coverage.This is called the coming-and going rule. There are exceptions,however.The special hazard rule and the totality of the cicumstances exceptive rule. How close to work were you when the accident occured? Are you fixed sited?
