Legal Question in Criminal Law in Oklahoma
filing a false report
is it a felony to give a false victim statement to law enforcement? the charge is a & b with a deadly weapon. if it's a misdemeanor what is the possible punishment and where can i find it in the state statute.

Typically only a misdemeanor unless you are dealing with a federal Officers. It could be charged different ways but the most generic is 21 OS 540 (0 to 1 year).
