What are the benefits of starting a minority LLC vs a normal LLC and where does a person start?

Any attorney will say a minority owned (controlling interest) LLC is eligible for certain government grants, subsidies, etc. that are not available to a non-minority owned LLC. Be certain the controlling interest in the LLC is held by a minority. Then check online for government-sponsor minority programs. Consult with an attorney in your area for specifics.
