Legal Question in Business Law in Oklahoma

Business Partner spying

My Business partner purchased a surveillance device with company money to spy on me. He also paid our secretary to spy on me during work hours ( so also on company money). I have also found receipts changed and tampered with. I have been locked out of my own company files both in file cabinets and online. I can no longer access my bank information (all passwords have been changed) My partner gave our secretary a loaded hand gun and told her to use it if needed. (not sure what that means) Is what he doing legal? and if not what can I do about it? and does it help my case during a buy out? (We are a S Corporation)

Re: Business Partner spying

There may be multiple claims against your partner based on his actions. I would suggest two things: (1) document anything and everything you can in regards to the actions, and (2) consider getting an attorney. As a partner you should have right to company information and to make sure company funds are used for company business. The part about the hand gun is certainly a concern, bringing in the prospect of potential criminal action. As for a buy out, I again suggest you engage an attorney as there are many legal considerations in executing a buy out, only one of which is the actions describe.
