Legal Question in Business Law in Oklahoma
My company gave me a list of customers that have a credit on their account. I was instructed to create a misc invoice to swallow the credit without contacting the customer to see if they want to apply the credit to another service or receive a refund... These are dated from 2007 to 2011... Furthermore I was instructed to back date the invoices and payments specifically so the company does not have to pay taxes on them... I see this as possible embezzlement and tax evasion... We are looking at over $100,000.00 worth of over paid accounts... What are my legal obligations in this matter?
