Legal Question in Business Law in Oklahoma

Re-selling of sample products

I purchased several vending machines from a company that also provided me with product to go in the machines. Some of the products say "Sample-Not For Sale", or "For Professional Use Only-Not for retail sale". They say it is ok for me to sell these out of my vending machines, but I am questioning the legality of it. Any help or information on this topic would be greatly appreciated.

product samples, not for sale.

I think you might have to contact the manufacturers.1) They may have chosen not to label the products for individual sale for various reasons. Then, you, too, could be guilty of selling improperly labeled products.(You might be asking yourself, "so what?" -- perhaps thelikelihood of repercussions is low.)2) They have allocated them as give-aways or samples forsalesmen to give away but such may no longer matter as by the time you got them, they'd been sold to you and you can sell them if you like.

These are just my personal guesses. I have little basis for even these comments, so take 'em with a huge grain of well-labellediodized salt.
