cell phone calls

is it legal for any company to call someones cell phone to collect a debt?

I know of no prohibition against calling on a cell phone. The company must still comply with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. If they are calling you at work, you can have a supervisor notify them that your work has a policy against non-business calls.
