The "best way" to collect is dependant on your particular circumstances. Generally speaking, you can garnish the employer's bank account(s) and anyone who owes any money to the employer. If you do not have any of this info, you can require the employer to appear in court for a "Hearing on Assets". You will need to file with the court an Affidavit of Judgment Creditor and have issued an Order to Appear, then serve them upon the employer. At the asset hearing you will be able to ask the employer questions regarding his/her/its assets and liabilities, which the employer must answer under oath. You can use this info to file one or more garnishments or an execution on assets.
