Legal Question in Criminal Law in Oklahoma

My boyfriend is in jail for assault and battery by strangulation, I was 17 at the time I wasnt aware I was pressing charges at the time I asked the officer what I was signing he said it was just saying I was telling the truth and no one was going to get in trouble. He and I are having a child (due in july). His mom said they judge said he cannot have any contact with me is there anything I can do to get him out, Drop the charges, or make it where we can have contact for the baby??

No person "presses charges" against another person and no person can "drop charges" against another person. The police submit a police report to the district attorney. The DA then files a charge(s) in the name of the State with the court clerk. Only the DA can dismiss a case filed against someone. Sometime the DA will take into consideration the desire of the "victim" but not always.
