Legal Question in Criminal Law in Oklahoma

My brother was arrested for larceny awhile back. He was bonded out but skipped a court date because of work. He tried to contact the court house to see if he could pay or have date rescheduled. He was unsuccessful of this and later arrested by a bondsman and booked into David l. Moss. He also had unpaid traffic tickets.the judge said he has to sit for three months. I just Dont see how is this smart. You can't Get any money from him whiles he's in jail. Is there anything a public offender or attorney could do to maybe workout a deal, maybe a pay plan? In total he owes about 3k in fees, 80 percent are traffic tickets.. Thanks

Something will have to happen with the larceny case first. He will have to bond out on that or enter into a plea agreement (or be found not guilty which will take months) before he can be releases. Payment plans for the unpaid fines can always be worked out if the judge believes that the person can and will stick to the payment plan.
