Can I be convicted of forgery when every payment check I have ever received and cashed has been sent to my address and in my name

Though your name and address were on the check, was the check intended for you? If it was for a different person and there was a mistake of name and address, and you KNEW that it was not for you, then you were forging the signature of another. If the checks were sent to you and you were the intended payee of the check, but you should not have been receiving those checks, then it would be fraud. If they were for you and you were supposed to receive them, then no there was no forgery.
