question about warrants

Some friends and I wew at a party over 2 months ago where the ploice found some marajuana, they did nothing but take it then, this past week the have issued warrants against us, dont they have a certain time in which to act? I was told 48 hours. please respond thank you.

Actually, the operative time frame is 3 years. Search warrants can be attacked for staleness after about 10 days, typically. However, arrest warrants have no such constraint. You need to get with a bondsman and do a "walk-through" so that you don't get arrested at a traffic stop. Also, it sounds like you may have a defensible case. Do not screw it up by talking to the cops. They are NOT there to help you and typically they are not overly-fastidious about telling the truth.
