Legal Question in Criminal Law in Oklahoma

Out of state DUI 2.5 years ago

About 2 1/2 years ago in another state I had a DUI for which I never appeared in court. I was in rehab at the time of court and was unaware of the date. I moved back home to another state soon after and never appeared. I have my life back together now and am doing very well - I don't want this to come back and bite me, although I assume I have a bench warrant - what is the best way to take care of this? Should I consult an attorney in the state it occurred or in my home state? Also of interest - I was under the legal limit for DUI (barely) but was ordered to appear anyway - plus my license was never suspended which is unusual.

You need to contact an attorney in the jurisdiction where you were arrested. That attorney needs to invesitgate the matter and get you put back on the court docket.
