Legal Question in Family Law in Oklahoma

support

Do I need to file an answer for support modification review? My ex is asking for 200 more a month which will cause me to lose my home. I do understand Title 43 and think that the judge will rule against it since the ex has two income as retired military officer and now works for the state and I make $10.40 hr. In same review, I will be asking that my ex be responsible for his percentage of transportation of our son, excess to school records, and for flexiblity on mid-week visitation day.

thank you

Re: support

I assume you've been served with a Motion to Modify. I would suggest you file an answer with your arguments. Your understanding of Title 43 is helpful, but not the end of the argument. The extensive case law should support your argument as much of Title 43 (and most statutes for that matter) is subject to interpretation by the courts. How the statutes have been interpretted is where the rubber meets the road.
