Vehicle title and unlawful marriage

Man and Woman get married and buy a car and put both their names on title. They split up. Woman pays the car payment and has possession of car. Man wants the car. Can he have car repoed or report it stolen since he and Woman are not legally married? Can Woman have his name rmoved from title?

As long as one of the signing parties have possession of the car and the payments are being made on a timely manner, no other party, including your co-signer has the right to take posssession or repossession; or to report the car missing under false pretenses, which is what he would be guilty of, particularly, if he knowly reports the car stolen. And, if he gave up possession. It is recommended that he removes himself from full title and control over the vehicle if he as demonstrated malicious intent.
