Marrying before getting deportation letter.

Im on a temporay green card and applying to get the permanent one through my dad, he got married before i turned 18.His marriage was not in good faith and most likely we will get denied the green card n get deported. Im about to marry a US citizen and its true love. We have a house together n we have been together for 3 yrs now. If i marry him before i get my deportation am i able to stay in the US?

Re: Marrying before getting deportation letter.

You may have more options than your father will, assuming you were not actively engaged in the fraudulant marriage. You may be able to marry and file a new I-130 based upon your own new, valid marriage. You will need to consult an attorney to work through this however.
