Legal Question in Employment Law in Oklahoma

I Asked for A Raise and Got Fired Instead!

I worked for a high-profile attorney for 2&1/2 years without getting a raise. I put a request in writing to open dialogue--he pulled me in for a meeting a week later, told me there would be no discussion, refused my request, handed me a final check and told me I was self-terminated. Employment Security Comm. awarded me unemployment, but now I can't get a legal job-blackballed. What do I do? No metro atty. will represent me in a wrongful termination or anything!

In the simplest terms, you do not have a wrongful termination case. Without going into more detail over the internet, please contact me at my e-mail address for a private response.
