Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Oklahoma

Civil Judgement in Error

My previous landlord placed a civil judgement on me and admitted it was in error since my name is not on the lease. He indicated that he would sign the appropriate papers we have provided him and notorize the documents so we can file them with the county courthouse so this can be taken off my credit report. He is avoiding my calls. However he has admitted the judgement was in error. Do I have any recourse?

Re: Civil Judgement in Error

His judgment, if truly unfounded, is a slander on your credit and reputation. He could be liable to you if not reversed.

Call or email for proposed remedy.
