Legal Question in Social Security Law in Oklahoma

Apply for disability or early retirement

At 60 years, I can hardly work anymore without frequently calling in sick R/T a very rare debilitating wasting illness-Afferent Loop Syndrome (syn with FTT) complicated by an electrical conduction failure iin my heart and blindness in one eye and macular degeneration in the other. On the other hand, I can't afford not to work. What needs to be done here?

You need to contact a Social Security Disability attorney as soon as possible. In the Tulsa area I would recommend Troutman and Troutman.

There are many factors that are considered when determining disability, such as age and education. Based on those factors you may be able to continue working and be accepted for Social Security Disability, but you need to speak with an attorney to see if that is possible.
