Is there a statute of limitations on small claims in the state of oregon.

Re: small claims statute of limitations

Statutes of Limitation are governed by the nature of the claim and not by whether they are "small claims" or otherwise. A tort S of L is 2 year. Some consumer fraud issues have a 1 year statute. Contract case issues are commonly 6 years and there is a general 10 year state along with a Statute of Repose which could affect all of the above.
