Legal Question in Constitutional Law in Oregon

First Ammendment Rights?

Last summer as I was finishing all the classes required for a bachelors in Economics I was told by a gang of thugs employed at Albertsons super market that they were connected and would stop me from graduation from Southern Oregon University. I ranted on Craigslist about this. The next thing I know the dean of students was denying me my diploma that I had earned based on the Craigslist postings. This is clearly a free speech violation. I'm seeking my diploma and damages for time lost because of this issue. I can't afford and attorney. The ACLU won't answer my email inquiries. Does anyone have any recommendations? Can this be handled pro per or in the alternative, in properia personna? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Re: First Ammendment Rights?

This does indeed sound like a First Amendment violation, but whether it actually is one will depend upon what your Craigslist posts said. Without that information there is no way to offer any substantive guidance.

I have no referrals to offer, but I should point out that "in pro per" is just an abbreviation of "in propria persona." They are not alternatives as your question presumes.
