Legal Question in DUI Law in Oregon

Issued a MIP while driving, but No DUII

I was issued an MIP by consumption, and Running a red light violation at the same time. I was not cited for DUII, even though obviously I could have been, had it not been for a kind officer. When the judge sees this, can he do anything to adversely affect me? Is there anything I should do? Thank you.

Judge is not the one who decides what to charge you with. The DA is the person who can review the police reports and alter the charges.

You should be very respectful in court to the judge. If you are going to enter a guilty plea, then you should be contrite and humble. One other suggestion is that you go to some AA meetings so that you learn about the dangers of alcohol abuse.
