can my wages along with my spouses be garnished for back child support my husband owes on my step children?

NO, the wages of the child support obligor's spouse cannot be garnished for child support owed by the obligor. In other words, YOU are not liable for the support obligations owed by your husband arising from his prior marriage or other relationship.
HIS wages can be ganished for the support HE owes. But your wages cannot be garnished for his separate debt(s).
