what is the marriage law in oregon?

i need to know the marriage law because there is a friend that is 17 and the man that she is with is 23 and her parents dont aprove of marriage and i need to know do they need the approval of the parents to get married and get a marriage license. please get back to me as soon as posible.

Under Oregon law, the minimum age for marriage is 17, providing there is parental consent. From age 18 and upward, no parental consent is needed.
