can a spouse force you to sale your house after it was already awarded to you in the divorce

Probably not but there may be some other issues to be dealt with that will clarify the situation. For example, is his name still on the mortgage? If it is, then that is basically his problem unless the court ordered you to have his name removed. If the court ordered you to remove his name, then you should do so but his only recourse is to go back to court to request that it take action to ensure that you comply with the court order. He cannot force you to sell the property if it was awarded to you in the divorce judgment. Go back and read your divorce judgment.
