Legal Question in Family Law in Oregon

I have a quick simple

question. I know a girl who

is 15 and pregnant. She is

due may 3rd. Right now she

lives with her father and

step mother. My question is,

when she has the baby what

are her rights. I have been

told from 2 diffrent people

that when a teenage mother

has a baby she is legaly an

adult this is true. I can use

any help with this thank u

for ur help.

No, she will not be an adult simply by virtue of giving birth to a child at age 15. She will, however, have the right to give consent to the release and surrender of the baby for adoption purposes. And that is something that she really ought to do. She's already done a hugh injustice to herself by allowing herself to get pregnant and then allow the birth to occur. No need to inflict another cruel injustice on the baby by keeping the baby rather giving the child up for adoption, thus giving the child lease on life that most likely could not ever be provided when a child gives birth to a child, which is what is occurring in this case.
