Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Oregon

An online newspaper Oregonlive.com recently posted an article that my Exhusband was interviewed for about Veterans. My full name was mentioned in the article along with the city I live in. That's upsetting. Second my ex husband made comments below the article that are false about me. saying I slept with our childrens friends, that I earned 4,000 a month *wich is UNTRUE* I have proof I have not worked since I was a teenager which was before he and I ever got married. Along with other lies about me. I don't know what my legal rights are but I sent two seperate emails requesting that the comments be taken down and the article be taken down or at least take my full name and city out of the article. I have not heard back. I am thinking about suing them for slander. And suing my ex huabsnd for slander and harrassment. What are my legal rights????? Everyone can read this and it's embarrasing. he was abusive when we were married and I feel he is stil being abusive to me even though we have been apart for over four years.

If the statements appearing online are in fact false and harmful to you, then you can sue both your ex and the Oregonian for libel.
