Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Oregon

I am being sued for a towing and storage bill from the summer of 2004. Is this over the statute of limitations? Does time start on the limitations when the vehicle is towed or after it is sold and no longer on there lot?

Please help,

Justin

If you had a contract with the towing company to tow your car and store it, and then you did not pay what the contract called for, the company has 6 years to sue you from the date that your failed to make the required payment. So, if your car was towed January 1 but the payment was not due until February 1, the company had until February 1, 6 years later, to file suit.
