Legal Question in Personal Injury in Oregon

Injured while racing four wheeler, who is responsible?

I ride ATV's recreationally at my fathers home once a year.

This year I was injured while attempting a jump that had been constructed on the property. I was told it was safe but I wound up breaking my leg in the resulting wreck.

I lost my income from work as did my wife who was needed at home to provide care for me and our children.I have yet to accept any money from my fathers insurance. However they have agreed to pay for any out of pocket medical expenses that we incur up to a pre-determined amount. Should I accept this, or is the homeowners coverage responsible for more of my losses?

For an injury that serious and costly, you should not settle with insurance company without the advice of an attorney.

I do not do personal injury work. I have in the past referred cases to the Kafoury law firm at 503-224-2647, and they seem to get the job done.
