Legal Question in Personal Injury in Oregon

motorcycle accident,underinsured

My husband & 31yr.Old daughter were involved in accident. Daughters medical bills exceed insurance coverage. Is my husband personally responsible for excess medical bills?

You don't explain HOW the accident happened. To the extent her injuries might be considered his fault, it's possible that the bills will ultimately be his "responsibility," but it could take a lawsuit to force that issue. It's the responsibility of the patient, first and foremost, and then it's up to them (your daughter) to get coverage from someplace. Did she not have health insurance? If so, they ought to be paying.
