Legal Question in Personal Injury in Oregon

Personal Injury/Accident

My son was hit directly in the eye by another kid who served it at him when he wasn't looking. Goofing around. He has permanent damage to his eye. The parents of the kid who hit the ball claim it was an accident so they are not responsible. Is thisthe law? All I wanted was them to split my out of pocket medical expenses.

My son also missed 5 days of school.

What is law for this type of case?

Re: Personal Injury/Accident

The parents of the other child may well be responsible and be liable to pay not only medical expenses but very significant other damages as well.

You need to consult a personal injury attorney. I am not one but I sometimes use the Kafoury law firm in Portland, at 320 SW Stark, downtown. See http://www.kafourymcdougal.com
