Re: protecting myself from injury claims

The feature of whether the waiver form you seek is "downloadable" should be the least of your issues. These messages like yours, posted to the LawGuru site, go out to lawyers. Virtually ANY of us would tell you, as I do, that you should talk directly to a lawyer, and describe the nature of the USE of your property, which causes you concern. THEN, you take it from there.

Don't mean to sound blunt our argumentive with you. I think you're ill-served, however, by any lawyer simply telling you where to find some generic "waiver" form, as if to validate that this is all you need.

The BEST defense against claims, aside from avoiding the negligent behavior or dangerous situations, is to buy plenty of liability INSURANCE. That's what it's for!

Good luck,

Sam

Some types of negligence CANNOT be waived -- it just depends on the specific circumstances.
