Does Eminent Domain Extend to Businesses
I have been operating a business without a formal leasing agreement for over five years. I have paid for LHI out of my own pocket increasing the appraised value of the property. Does the law of eminent domain extend to business ventures where I can take ownership of the land and building? I doubt it, but I was just wondering.
