if a first class civil suit on a property is pending then owner can sell, execute or change the status of said uit property?

Normally when a suit is filed against or for the property ,status quo is ordered to be maintained during the pendency of the case. therefore the parties to the case of the disputed property can not interfare with the status(whatsoever)forthwith.
