Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Pakistan

i have filed for khula from my husband.He is outside the country.

now its being 7 months,and my inlaws didnt appear in court, their lawyer just extending it by taking dates over dates for hearing,can you please guide me in this regard? please also tell me the max time duration this kind of cases usually takes?

there is no fixed duration for the cases but the follow up is a must and the basis to summarize it. since you have not mentioned what is the stage of the case.. is it on evidence or earlier stage.

Max time for Khula case is only Two months. and your Khula case had to be decided in two month.

As it seems from your statements that their lawyers had already appeared then there is only only thirty days for filling of written statement and reconciliation. if Reconciliation fails then court is bound to decree the suit forthwith.that's all. remaining suits such as recovery of Dowry articles etc can be linger on but not Khula as CJ of Pakistan has given very clear instruction regarding this and newly amended Family courts act as well support this.
