in the last 55 days my wife asked me 11 times to divorce her using very angry making words. so one day i lost my mind and wrote her thrice "i give you talaq". next day she ran to a mufti and the mufti sahib told her according to shariyat she is divorced. please guide me according to the pakistani law.

pronouncing talaq thrice ,written or oral under sunni hanafi law talaq is pronounced ,effected and matured. Under Muslim family laws there is a procedure laid down : ie it has to be written, endorsed by the two witnesses, one copy to the wife and one to the union council . Union council shall form a conciliation council who will provide opportunities to both of the parties to reconcile ,if reconciled than notice of divorces reverted and and if not then it will mature on or after 90 days.
