Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Pennsylvania

Title house in trust

My wife's father is a widower who owns his house outright. According to the will, the house is to be sold upon death and the proceeds distributed to the 5 children. My wife will be executrix. To avoid probate, would it make more sense to create a trust with my wife as trustee and title the house in trust?
