Legal Question in Administrative Law in Pennsylvania

business partnership legal documents

I have a busniess with 1 partner as of now, however the partner I have wants to turn the business fully over to me and 2 other partners that i would like to bring into the business. I need to know if the legal contracts that i find on line would be as good as actually going to a lawyer and if they would hold up in court of law need be?

thanks,

MJ

Re: business partnership legal documents

Partners are 100% liable for the debts and other liabilities of each other. Selling a share in a partnership is often difficult and expensive. You should definitely see a lawyer before entering into a partnership. I have dealt with partnerships for several years and no two partnerships seem to be alike, so I don't see how a form partnership contract would be of much use. Peter Dolinger, Esq. 215-575-9220
