Bylaws changed in the middle of the year so newer persons can not run for office during elections. Is it legal?
As a Franchise Attorney I can say this. The answer depends on what the bylaws require before they can be amended. Usually it's a vote of the shareholders or a meeting of the board of directors, or both. It all depends on what the bylaws provide, what the exact change was, etc. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
