filing an ammended answer to complaint filed against me

I answered a complaint myself due to lack of funds. Other issues have come to my attention that are supporting in fact more relivent as to my answer. Can I file additional answers to get them into the case.

You can most likely file an amended answer, but it really sounds like you should at least consult with an attorney, especially if the other side has one...Remember the old cliche that a man who represents himself in court has a fool for a lawyer? In part it is because you don't know all the rules and the other side will.

Even if you know you are right, that doesn't mean you will win at trial if the other side is able to use the system to make sure you lose before you get there.
