Legal Question in Business Law in Pennsylvania

Information on Outcome of Pennsylvania Business Lawsuit

I have a vested interest in, but am not part of, a lawsuit between two companies in Pennsylvania. This suit has been filed for about 8 years, and may be close to settling out of court. How can I find out if the case has settled, what the settlement is, and when it will be paid?

Re: Information on Outcome of Pennsylvania Business Lawsuit

I am not sure what you mean that you have a vested interest in the outcome of a lawsuit. If you have access to the attorney who represents the corporation in which you have an interest you may do so. You also have the right to check the court papers that are filed. You need the docket number or it can be looked up. However, the papers filed in the case do not always reveal the final outcome. I suggest you consult legal counsel to explain the facts surrounding your interest and get advice as the appropriate action.
