Legal Question in Business Law in Pennsylvania

Overcharged Bill

I feel that I was grossly overcharged for services of a welder. I stopped payment on the check. I know I owe him, but his charges were ridiculous. What recourse do i have.

Re: Overcharged Bill

Well, I'd be more than happy to discuss this with you but would certainly require more information before I could tell you conclusively whether you have a claim or not. Under certain conditions, you could have a claim particularly if the welder did not meet his/her part of the bargain. Other issues to consider are whether or not you had a formal agreement in place outlining the expectations of the work to be done. Further, I would need to know if he/she made any false or misleading representations. There are many, many more considerations we could discuss. Please feel free to contact me for a free consultation. You should send me an email with your contact information and I will call you directly.
