I have run a home business for 16 years and just received a letter from my township about not having the proper variance and to cease my business as a personal trainer. The only thing that I can think of that triggered the letter was a recent mailing I sent out about my services. This is not the first time that I have sent out the mailing. What are my rights?
As a Franchise Attorney I can say this. Contact your township to discuss the matter. Even a home business must have the right business licenses, etc. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
