vacation

if an employee is given a vaction day and then the employer decides to give the whole office the day off can the employer not give the employee the vacation day back to use at another time

It seems to me this is more of an empliyment law question as oppsoed to business law, but I have a comment. Even assuming that youi CAN do this -- and I think you probably can -- why would you WANT to do it? It seems to me to be an absolutely horrible employment practice.
