Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Pennsylvania

I was locked up for 2 months becasue of a PFA with my childs mother whom i was with at the time. The PFA was vacated on The 8th of October 2009. When I was arrested the officer stated that it was still in the system until 2012 and that i had to get arrested. I have documetation stating that it was vactaed but I did not have it on me. When I finally had my court date it was through out in its first listing b/c of the order to vacate. Is there anyway to get any compinsation for hardship and lose of employment during this time I was in prison?

The original arrest was legal because of what was in the system, but I would be curious why you were in jail that long. The answer to your question would depend on the specific facts. Feel free to email me. In what county was this and in what county was the PFA?
