Hello, I was wondering if I could have the police in trouble for lying to me to get information...he told me that he traced my Internet Service Provider number to my computer and he didn't see i found out after confessing to the fact that my IP address changes everytime I log on to my computer so there was no way he could have..so can he get in trouble for lying to me to get me to say what he wanted to hear??

Re: Intrapment

It is you that is in trouble. Police are allowed to trick you into confessing if you have been Mirandized properly beforehand. Were you?

This is not a computer question, it is a criminal law question. You should resubmit there.
