Legal Question in Technology Law in Pennsylvania

Online Gaming

I am researching Online Gaming in Local, State, Federal, International, and Online/Internet Law.

I am planning on opening an Online Casino. Before I embark on this business plan, I would like insite on any and all laws that I would need to comply with. I understand that this is a vast amount of information and would appreciate even a ''point in the right direction.'' If you know of a resource that would assist me, I would appreciate the direction.

The Online Casino would be like actual casinos, offering all the games, Card Games, Poker, Table Games, as well as ''Instant Win'' or ''Scratch Off'' tickets.

Re: Online Gaming

You asked about the legality of openning an online gaming site.

You cannot develop a business plan based on online gaming. It is not a business plan but a fantasy. Read the newspaper. It is illegal and Congress is acting to make that even more explict. Management of current gambling sites have already been arrested and their assets seized.

There is no one putting any investment money into this spectrum now. Unless you are already independently wealthy then you cannot raise money to pursue this fantasy.

I really am usually a person to say go for it to the entreprenuer. But not when the idea is as ludicrous as this is at this time.
