Legal Question in Constitutional Law in Pennsylvania

Take my baby to class

Is there a law in the state of Pa that forbids me to actually have my baby (4 months old) attend my college classes with me? I know that it's not practical but I wanted to see if there was an actual law prohibiting me. Thanks!

A law in Pennsylvania that forbids it? Not one that comes to mind.

That said, would you take the baby to a movie? Probably not as the child might fuss and annoy the other patrons.

One can liken a college class to a movie in the sense your classmates have paid good money to take the class and they have an expectation that their classmates would not do anything to interfere with their taking the class. Which more than likely a 4 month old baby would at some point.

Beyond being impractical it would be rude to take a baby to class.

While I agree with the previous post about there probably being no law against it, college regulations certainly will have rules about class disruption AND the professor will certainly be within her rights to ask you to take the child outside and not bring it back if it hinders her ability to get through her material.

But, honestly, how much attention do you really think you can pay to the class when your primary concern has to be the child?
